How long does therapy take?

Therapy is a journey and its duration can vary depending on the individual and the nature of the challenges being addressed. Typically, we recommend starting with weekly to biweekly sessions. Therapy can also be an ongoing process to address new challenges or build on previous progress.

Can you diagnose mental health conditions or prescribe medication?

As a psychotherapist, I am not qualified to diagnose or prescribe medications. However, to provide a holistic approach to your well-being, referrals can be made to other experts who can offer additional support when needed.

Do you offer a sliding scale or low-cost therapy?

Yes! Our goal is to ensure that financial constraints don't prevent you from receiving support. The cost of therapy can be adjusted based on your financial situation to make our services more accessible to individuals who may not be able to afford the standard rate. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you'd like to discuss this further.

Do you accept insurance?

Psychotherapy services are covered under most comprehensive insurance plans. Although we do not do direct billing, detailed receipts are provided after each session to manually submit to your provider. Contacting your insurance company to confirm coverage is recommended.
